Might take a second to load, but here’s the entire take from heats 3 and 4, Men’s Four-Man Bobsled in Whistler. 1,217 frames
If there was one shot that got away from me at the Salt Lake games, it was the 4-man bobsled. I didn’t show up as early as I had been, so I was two positions back from my normal spot. No problem, I would still get the shot. That is, until another photographer broke the rules, leaned into my view, and threw off my camera’s autofocus. The shot was lost. Add in the fact that Holcomb was about to win the first US bobsled gold medal in six decades. I had to have this shot. So here is the warts and all version of what was going through my head as the event progressed.

Another full day here in Vancouver. I had two options this morning:
1. Take it easy until 2pm.
2. Go to the USA men’s hockey game.
