Spanish Fork - Spring was welcomed at the Hare Krishna Temple during Holi, The Festival of Colors Saturday March 28, 2009. Thousands gathered to throw colored powder into the air, signifying the joy and colors of spring arriving.

Had an idea today: put together a collection of the photographs I’ve taken during the national anthem.
Had a better idea: no.
I’ve got a problem. Two blogs.
It’s like being in love with two people.
Trouble.
For the past few years I’ve been blogging here at TrentHead.Com and posting the same material on my Fly On The Wall blog at The Salt Lake Tribune’s site. Problem is, it splits my audience over two blogs. Whether or not I’ve come up with the right solution, things are changing—
All my writing and photography about life behind the scenes as a photojournalist at The Salt Lake Tribune will now appear only on my Fly On The Wall blog.
Here on TrentHead.Com, this will be the place for my personal work, punk rock, and life outside the Tribune. I will continue to blog here, but…please…do me a favor and…

I was photographing a family shopping for cars in Ogden when this guy walked up and asked me to take a photo of him. He gave me his name and address (general delivery, Ogden, Utah) to send a print. Add it to the pile of photos I’ve promised to people.

I’m usually the first one out on the court to capture the celebration. But when American Fork beat Riverton for the state championship in high school girls basketball, these crazy fans were quicker.
