As I wrote before, just as we were about to abandon Eldorado for San Angelo, two more buses came out from the YFZ Ranch.

I photographed the passing buses, but the windows were tinted.

But I shot everything in RAW, so I was able to pull out these faces, just now.

The police presence at Fort Concho was heavy.

But they didn’t stop me from photographing.

There was a lot of work going on. These must be CPS workers or volunteers, checking out the facilities.

Editing the photos today, this frame really struck me. What is the CPS worker giving the thumbs-up for? And who, out of frame, is it intended for?

And here a CPS worker leads a group of women to a tent…

…explaining whatever it is that’s going on.

Once in a while I would see an FLDS woman, but it was a long shot and nothing of much interest. I was about to give up and go get that dinner I felt I had earned after a long day……
