Is there a separation between a journalist’s role on the job and their personal life? In other words, can you take at timeout from your responsibilities as a journalist? Two Halloween scenarios to consider:
1. You’re covering the story of a young woman murdered by her husband. When Halloween comes around, you and your wife dress as the killer and bloody victim.
2. You’re covering a tragedy in which several people are killed. For Halloween you dress up as one of the victims, bloody and bruised.

Too dam funny…. Separation sure…
Scenario one, what does the wife want to do for Halloween? That’s the answer. Option two, who knows? Why go victim maybe killer, depends on the day. And more importantly who is hosting the party? The judge, cousin, or the dude next door.
Just don’t show up as Warren Steed Jeffs at the ward’s trick-and-trunk.
